I thought you just stole the drawing, but now i see that you redrew it from Leonardo. Good work :)

This is so amazing.. The way its shaded and you can tell that its a person underneath only because of the shapes and folds of the cloth.. I love it

B-YOO-TI-FULL. Even though probably you could have made your own original study based on life.

BTW, did you know Leonardo made the drapery drawing to test his abilities at drawing drapery?

Interesting. It's a shame, I don't see many people studying off Da Vinci anymore.

Thanks! :thanks:
Firstly I apply the white pastel, then the black and finally a second round with the darkest and clearest zones.
The reason is that the white has less possibilities to mess than black.

I'm not able to really write a critique, im not that great at writing, but i think this is a very nice and well done study, you used your shadows and light so well, it really makes the folds pop and really look like cloth. the only thing I can say i would do differently is your darkest areas could be darker, but its a great piece of work.

Thanks! :thanks: I wanted to still see clearly the folds in the darkest part that's why I didn't make it darker but you are right, I have the same feeling.

Just a drapery, but with all the folds, the light and shadows, it makes a really nice piece of art. Reminds me of somethings that our art teacher in high school made us do with charcoal.
