Bonsai by AmBr0 Bonsai by AmBr0
Video timelapse: www.youtube.com/watch?v=rsXS0o…

Japanese art form using miniature trees grown in containers. The purposes of bonsai are primarily contemplation (for the viewer) and the pleasant exercise of effort and ingenuity (for the grower). By contrast with other plant cultivation practices, bonsai is not intended for production of food, for medicine, or for creating yard-size or park-size gardens or landscapes. Instead, bonsai practice focuses on long-term cultivation and shaping of one or more small trees growing in a container.

Can you fill me in on that pole you used to keep your hand from touching the paper? I could so use one of those.

It's just a rounded stick that relies in the easel's borders to comfortably switch around the different positions. I used to use a common ruler before.

I love this. It looks very much like the prints you sometimes find in older books. Although I guess the amount of detail is far superior to those photos. Sir, you're a living god. :P
